October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.

As usual...things are very pretty around your here...your blog. Things aren't that great...dad's stuck on a feeding tube. I am celebrating his life by posting pictures of the hand painted frescoes he did years ago in Southern Italy. Go take a peak! Thanks for checking in on me and stay in touch.

Love that pumpkin candelabra! :D Jewel
I love the look of Fall!
I can't imagine living somewhere that the leaves don't change color.
Outstanding.
It is a beautifu Fall! It's good to have you back.
Your strawberries are just too cute!
I've prayed for your brother and it was good to hear he is making some progress.

To answer your question, I'm not sure if they designed the program because girls were asking for help or if it is an existing program. I'll have to ask at church.
I'm not involved with the other aspects of it. I'll find out for you. It's been a hit with young married ladies or single girls are in this semester.
Kathleen, I love that thingy with the beautifully carved pumpkins on it! Beautiful photo of fall trees, and the poem was great. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. laurie
Beautiful poetry - and pictures. Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I didn't realize how much I missed it during those 9 years we spent in FL. I wouldn't want to live anywhere again where I would miss the color of the leaves changing and the smell when they rot! Ahhh.....
Hi Kathleen, I've missed you. Welcome back! Praying for your brother as I write this. ~ Violet
